Remedies:
1. Keep hydrated: Drink 8 - 10 glasses or 2 litres of water daily, if you have the fever. You can drink fruit juices which are rich in vitamins C to fight out the infection.

3. Take a warm bath: Take a warm bath for 5 to 10 minutes but make sure the water is not too hot which could lead to much higher body temperature.

4. Comfortable clothes: Don't wear excess clothes or heavy clothes or any blankets that can make you more warm. Try to wear clothes as loose as possible for the proper air circulation. Use thin blanket, if you need.

5. Towel on forehead: soak the towel in lukewarm water and place it on your forehead or under the arms. And doing so, activates sweat glands to keep your body cool. Avoid using cold or hot water which can make fever last longer.

6. Medication: if the fever is very high, take proper fever reducing medication. Be aware of the dosage of medication, take them very carefully. Consulting a doctor is recommended when you don't know what kind of medication and should take.

Eat anti-inflammatory foods, like nuts, leafy vegetables, fish like Salmon and tuna, brown rice, oranges, strawberries. Consume fruits which are rich in vitamin C.

8. Try to stay indoors, by limiting the activity you will feel more comfort. Don't smoke, smoking weakens your immune system and causes your temperature to go up. Reduce the intake of coffee and tea.
