1. Broken/Leftover registry records: Windows Registry stores settings for the operating system, software and games. Use tools like CCleaner to fix registry records. Regularly, check for registry errors.

2. Temporary Files: Temporary files are created by programs and operating system to recover lost data if computer is abnormally shuts down. Huge amount temporary files might make your computer to lag. CCleaner is a great tool to clean temporary files.

3. Virus: Malwares are meant to slow down your PC. Virus can take maximum load as it is not user-friendly. And it also drops corrupted data in your PC. Update and Scan your Computer with your Antivirus. If it doesn't help you, try some Second opinion scanners. Remember to scan your whole computer.

4. Less Disk Space: Having less disk space than required can make your computer slow. Your operating system and programs running requires disk space to manage the proper functionality. Use CCleaner to get rid of temporary and files in recycle bin. You can also use it to find duplicate files.
