Psychologist are saying taking more than three selfies can turn into addiction. A man experiencing this issue builds up a luring propensity for looking in mirrors and clicking photos by one possess self. One may experience the ill effects of stress, anxiety, depression and over-reliance on smartphone.


· Borderline selfitis - Taking more than 3 selfies but not posting on any social media websites.
· Acute selfitis - Posting atleast 3 photos of yourself a day.
· Chronic selfitis -  Taking and posting atleast 6 photos of yourself a day.

Remedies / Cure:

1. Deactivate your Social media account. Invest the time in something creative or productive. Neglect the people (your social media friends, more precisely) while doing this so that you are not distracted or frustrated. This method may sound like too extreme but it will definitely help you. Don't dwell in materialism trap. come out of it. There is a limit for everything.

2. Get rid of smartphone and use any simple phone. You might be thinking that these are very extreme steps but thats the only solution. It might be very difficult in the initial stage but will definitely give you results if you follow it with the heart.

2. Try not to use your smartphone but only if situation demands. Smartphone can become your best buddy if you use it in right way. Instead of using it for social media and load of other useless things, use it for productive purposes e.g. Time-table, To-do list, Notes and Memos, Alarms etc.

3. Keep yourself busy with some work. In that way you can distract your mind. Engaging yourself with productive works lets you ignore useless distractions from crawling in your head and also helps you achieve something.

4. Set a goal (it could be anything which develops business mind). In that way, you will be more matured and understand why it's silly.

5. Believe Yourself. Be Yourself.
