How to stop Hiccups
Hiccup happens because of an involuntary contraction of the diaphragm and it may repeat several times per minute. The interval between the hiccups are usually constant.

Causes of Hiccups:
→ Eating fast than usual.
→ Eating or drinking too much than usual.
→ Smoking or chewing gum.
→ Some diseases that irritate the nerves.
→ Abdominal surgery,
strokes or brain tumors and certain medications.


Remedies:
1. Peanut butter: Eat a spoon of peanut butter. Chew it before swallowing.

2. Honey: Add 1 teaspoon of honey in warm water and then on the Back of tongue and after swallow it.

3. Sugar or any sweet: Eat one teaspoon of sugar or small amount of any sweet to get rid of a hiccup.

4. Bag Trick: Breathe in and out into a small paperback and stop if you feel lightheaded.
