Bad breath (halitosis) causes from poor maintenance of mouth. It also causes from Food, health problems, dental problems, medications. Bad breath can be very very unattractive, especially, if you are beside your girlfriend/boyfriend and trying to impress her/him. Bad breath can also be a sign of disease - though it's rare - so you have to be careful what you are dealing with.

REMEDIES

1. BRUSH YOUR TEETH:

Brush your teeth properly at least twice a day to keep your teeth healthy. And don't forget to brush your tongue also. your tongue contains bacteria on its surface. And can cause bad breath.

2. REGULAR CHECKUP:

See a dentist at least once in 5 to 6 months to ensure that your teethes are healthy.

3. WATER:

Drink enough water daily at a regular interval to keep your mouth moist and eat foods that require a lot of chewing to keep saliva flowing. Eat healthy foods only.

4. HOME REMEDIES:


  • Cinnamon: It helps in fighting oral bacteria, including germs which cause bad breath. Add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon powder to the 1 cup of water and also add some bay leaves and cardamom. Boil the mixture for 10 minutes and filter out the mixture after it cools. Use the mixture as a mouthwash.
  • Lemon: It contains citric acid which kills bacteria in your mouth. You can prepare lemon juice and drink.
  • Cloves: Put some cloves in your mouth and start chewing. You can also crush the cloves from your teeth to squeeze out the oil from it.
  • Baking Soda: Mix one teaspoon of baking soda to the 1 cup of water. Use the mixture as a mouthwash.
  • Apple Cider Vinegar: Add one teaspoon of vinegar to the 1 glass of water and mix it well. Gargle well for 4 - 5 times.

5. MOUTHWASH:

Use Blistering or some other type of antibacterial mouthwash. Gore lick for some 15 to 20 seconds and then spit.

6. Chew some sugar-free gum to keep saliva flowing. You can also chew some herbs like mint, parsley, basil. These herbs will counter your bad breath with their strong scents.
